Collection of four Yankee Stadium official scorecards for New York Yankee games occurring in the 1930s. The collection includes: 1) 1936 Scorecard: Official unscored scorecard for a game against the Boston Red Sox. Strong visual appeal a light horizontal fold down the center along with some edge toning. The fold down the center has resulted in a small edge tear. Hall of Famers include Joe DiMaggio (in his rookie year) Lou Gehrig Bill Dickey Tony Lazzeri Lefty Gomez Red Riffing Earle Combs Heinie Manush Herb Pennock Jimmie Foxx Joe Cronin and Lefty Grove. 2)1937 Scorecard: Unscored scorecard for a game against the St. Louis Browns. Apparent VG/EX condition with some light staining and discoloration to the cover. Centerfold is unattached in this case it was never stapled in (no holes are present). Hall of Famers represented in the scorecard include Joe DiMaggio Lou Gehrig Bill Dickey Tony Lazzeri lefty Gomez Red Ruffing Earle Combs and Jim Bottomley. 3) 1938 Scorecard: Unscored scorecard for a game against the Detroit Tigers. The spine has begun to separate the interior scorecard page exhibits significant ink staining and there is an inch-long chip of paper loss along the top edge of the cover. Hall of Famers represented include Joe DiMaggio Lou Gehrig Bill Dickey Lefty Gomez Charles Gehringer Hank Greenberg and Mickey Cochrane. 4) 1939 Scorecard: Unscored scorecard for a game against the Cleveland Indians. The scorecard is dated July 4 though the Yankees did not play Cleveland on that day. Additional notations have been made in ink on the interal scorecard page. Otherwise EX appearance with some minor areas of wear and tear along the edges and spine along with a tiny corner clip at the upper-right of the cover. Four scorecards total.
