A legendary season for the team culminating in the "greatest game ever played " the 1958 NFL Championship game. Collection includes the following: 1) August 16 vs. Philadelphia Eagles: G-VG condition a long vertical crease down the center a result of long-ago folding in half. Additional wear evident at the edges and corners of this exhibition program. 2) August 29 vs. Washington Redskins: Strong aesthetic appeal though technical grade is lower due to wear at the cover and spine along with the roster page having detached from the spine and exhibiting significant wear. Exhibition game. 3) September 14 vs. New York Giants: Exhibition program that would foreshadow the season's end. VG condition with curling at the spine and overall surface and edge wear. 4) September 28 vs. Detroit Lions: Opening Day program for the team's 28-15 victory over the Lions appears strong though the game score has been written in ink within the first letter of each team's name on the cover. Moderate wear elsewhere along with the game score also being written on the roster page in ink. 5) October 4 vs. Chicago Bears: 38-17 Colts victory. EX+ condition 6) October 26 vs. Washington Redskins: 35-10 Colts victory. EX condition. 7) November 2 vs. Green Bay Packers: VG condition with wear at the spine but a very strong appearance. 8) November 23 vs. Los Angeles Rams: 34-7 victory. EX condition with some wear at the spine. Missing just the final regular-season game November 30 against the San Francisco 40ers for a complete collection of exhibition and regular-season programs a nearly full run of programs from the Colts' legendary 1958 season.
