Interesting orange-background card featuring Hall of Fame pitcher Ed Walsh of the White Sox. The grade of FAIR 1.5 assessed by SGC speaks largely to a print defect with regard to registration that presents as a ghost image of Walsh printed southeast of the original image almost as if the fleshtones are printed slightly off. The remainder of the card is strong with a bit of staining in the upper-tight corner. The reverse does have some issues in the form of a few specks of paper loss and the ACC designation "E 98" written in pencil along the upper margin.
