Exceptional collection of phantom tickets to the 1977 Playoffs and World Series for the Baltimore Orioles. The Orioles fielded an outstanding team in 1977 and remained in a three-way race with the Yankees and Red Sox right up until the season's final days both teams finishing with identical 97-64 records behind the Yankees who would go on to face the Kansas City Royals in the LCS. The race made it necessary for the Orioles to move ahead with postseason plans however and they thus produced playoff and World Series tickets. Presented here are two sheets of tickets for the playoff and World Series in salmon and turquoise color. Both pieces remain in EX condition with some minor areas of surface corner and edge wear.
