Handsome snapshot photo dating to 1916 picturing Christy Mathewson in his Cincinnati Reds uniform. The photo has been trimmed to 3 7/8" x 4 3/4" and is affixed to a blue paper matte with clear tape on the reverse which we have elected to leave intact for fear of damaging the photo by removing the tape. The photo presents very well some writing and editorial markings joined by the Basbeall Magazine hologram stamp on the reverse. Guaranteed Type 1 with PSA.
