Outstanding full ticket from the May 15 1953 fight between Rocky Marciano and Jersey Joe Walcott. The previous September Marciano took the crown from Walcott a great fight that had Walcott leading on all scorecards when Marciano delivered a knockout punch in the 13th round. In the May 15 rematch Marciano ended the fight quickly knocking out the 39-year-old Walcott in the first round. The blue ticket is in outstanding condition graded AUTHENTIC by PSA though we do not identify signs of trimming - many ticket collectors submit tickets with a request for an A designation if they feel the ticket will not grade high. This example exhibits chipping and corner touches along with some minor abrasions here and there none of which dramatically interfere with its outstanding eye appeal.
