Vintage newspaper photo of Babe Ruth which has been cut from the paper and attached to a black paper backing. Ruth has signed and inscribed the photo in black fiber-tip marker diagonally across the bottom half of the photo. The photo does exhibit fading and surface wear as does the signature though it remains legible and displays well. Babe Ruth signatures are highly desirable in any condition in this case the display quality of the photo has been improved by the encapsulation in the Beckett holder. Authenticated by JSA and encapsulated by BVG when those two companies had a business arrangement.
