Lot Description  

Bright and beautiful card of Indianapolis outfielder Benny Kauff one of many Federal League players featured in the 1914 and 1915 Cracker Jack sets. Kauff led the Federal League in batting in both seasons hitting a whopping .370 in 1914 and following up with a .342 batting average in 1915. Joining the New York Giants afterward where he would finish his career he continued to perform at a high level though never matching his Federal League success.
