Outstanding Wilson size 44 Baltimore Orioles road jersey as worn by star pitcher Scott McGregor. McGregor broke into the majors in 1976 and pitched his entire 13-year career in Baltimore his best seasons in the early 1980s when he won 20 games in 1980 13 in strike-shortened 1981 and 18 in 1983. His 1980 season was his best; a 20-8 record and a 3.32 ERA was overshadowed by teammate Steve Stone's Cy Young season but was similarly outstanding. His jersey presents in outstanding condition with signs of heavy use including serious dirt and staining on the inside of the jersey though the gray fabric and black-and-orange lettering and are clean and sharp. Grade of A8 assigned by MEARS with a two-point deduction due to a restored nameplate. Otherwise all-original with outstanding display characteristics.
