Official scorecard from the 31st Annual Hall of Fame Game played August 6 1973 at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown. As part of the dedication of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in 1939 a group of All-Stars played a ballgame at Doubleday Field in Cooperstown. The following year team owners agreed that two teams would be sent to Cooperstown each summer to play a benefit game the beginning of a tradition that continued for decades. This attractive unscored scorecard features the logos of the game's participants - the Texas Rangers and Pittsburgh Pirates. Ducky Medwick has signed the scorecard in red ink along the left edge.
