Tremendous football-shaped official program for the 1924 Rose Bowl played between the Navy Midshipmen and the Washington Huskies. Played on New Year's Day at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena approximately 40 000 people witnessed a 14-14 tie Washington missing a game-winning field goal near the close of the game. The program presents well the die-cut cover exhibiting some small areas of paper loss around the border which surrounds the image of Washington coach Enoch Bagshaw. The interior pages which include both photos and "songs and yells" for both teams appear EX with the exception of light discolorations of the front and back pages likely just very light ink transfer from the brown cover pages being pressed against the adjacent page for nearly a century. The scorecard page has some game notes and scoring written in pencil. A very attractive program from an early Rose Bowl game.
