Extremely attractive official scorecard from a game between the Boston Americans and Washington Senators from Game 1 of a doubleheader played on June 1 1906. Casey Patten defeated Joe Harris 4-0 as the Senators chipped away scoring one run in the 3rd 4th 7th and 9th innings to win their 15th game of the season. The graphics are extremely attractive the cover printed in light blue and black the game neatly scored in a combination of pencil and black ink. While the piece itself is sturdy wear is evident at the edges and spine and a pronounced mark at the top center is evidence of having been thumbtacked to something at some point. Still an attractive early scorecard with striking artwork.
