I have one to sell!
Bright yellow cardboard countertop advertising display measuring 10" x 13 1/2" advertising "Connecticut Favorites " Naugatuck-born pitcher Spec Shea and Hull's brand beer. The piece has been signed by Shea in black fiber-tip marker underneath his image. Though the marketing copy identifies Shea as "baseball's rookie pitcher of the year " Shea's rookie season was 1947 and he was neither Rookie of the Year (Jackie Robinson) or the pitcher who received the most Rookie of the Year votes (Larry Jansen). Still Shea went 14-5 with a 3.07 ERA in 1947 - the best season of his career. Light wear at the corners and edges becomes more pronounced at the bottom-left corner which exhibits considerable wear and creasing. JSA has placed their decal at the bottom-right corner of the piece on the front unfortunately. Basic cert from James Spence Authentication.
