Complete set of baseball stamps produced by the Baseball Hall of Fame along with the empty album. The stamps were issued in a complete sheet of 25 numbered stamps (each of which misspelled the word "Centennial") the stamps featuring some of the game's great players and important milestones. The stamps were designed by former ballplayer Al Demaree who also designed the oversized R304 Demaree Die-Cut cards of 1934. The stamps and album are both pristine and intact though the stamp sheet distributed folded into rows of two appears to have one row of stamps (numbers 21 through 25) adhered to another (numbers 1 through 5). It is of course entirely possible should one choose to remove these stamps and detach them though we believe keeping them intact and uncut best preserves their value and historical importance. The stamp album is unused lightly toned but otherwise in EX/MT condition the 32-page booklet marred only on one page by a discoloration caused by another piece of paper having been inserted between the pages resulting in some color transfer (the paper was in the shape of a hand giving a peace sign likely some sort of scrapbook die-cut). This is the first example of this album or these stamps that we have handled. A fantastic grouping of items from baseball's centennial in outstanding condition as issued by the Hall of Fame. One sheet of 25 stamps and one album total.
