Exceptional postcard produced by the Block Brothers Studio and featuring Hall of Famers Rabbit Maranville Jesse Haines Grover Cleveland Alexander Jim Bottomley Frankie Frisch Chick Hafey and manager Bill McKechnie the 1928 Cardinals led the National League with a 95-59 record but were swept in the World Series by the Yankees. The postcard itself has been graded EX 5 by SGC very strong eye appeal throughout but corners not quite befitting of a higher grade. A beautiful image of one of baseball's most historic and widely-collected franchises.
