Interesting pair of Claude Rossman T206 cards both graded AUTHENTIC by PSA. Both cards are hand-cu with one exhibiting borders that have been completely trimmed away save for the bottom. Both cards appear to be missing a color pass as the rich black tones in Rossman's hair collar and jersey are clearly not evident in either card. T206Resource.com theorizes that the six-color printing process in the T206 set a six-stage process that begins with yellow then black brown blue green and red. This example clearly includes red and blue colors but it is apparent that one or more of the earlier color passes is not present on the cards. The hand-cut nature of both examples lends the possibility that neither card was intended to leave the factory and that they are actually what collectors today describe as "scrap." Regardless print anomalies like this are a favorite among many T206 collectors as they are scarce and help explain the printing process. Two cards total.
