One of the first cards to picture Babe Ruth as a member of the Yankees and likely the first to picture him in a Yankee uniform the 1921 Exhibits card of the Babe is also one of the few that depict him in a fielding pose. THe majority of Ruth cards both before and after this point pictured him either pitching or hitting the two facets of the game for which he was best known. This example of the 1921 Exhibits card is extraordinarily desirable for all those reasons one of the most important Exhibit cards ever distributed. While the card is graded PR 1 by PSA the card bosts exceptional eye appeal two small pinholes near the top and bottom center of the card reducing the technical grade. Additional wear is apparent at the corners and edges with a few tiny surface abrasions around the pinholes with very small areas of paper loss in the same areas barely visible without magnificaiton. A few small areas of surface wear are evident here and there nothing that distracts from what is an outstanding image given the technical grade. A highly coveted card one of the first to picture the mighty Babe in his Yankees uniform.
