Issued at the end of Babe Ruth's life one of the first "tribute" cards titles Ruth the "Greatest of all home run hitters " a moniker that we can still assign him today with some level of accuracy. This example has been graded VG+ 3.5 by PSA though the physical attributes of the card appear stronger. Corners exhibit wear though light and while surface dirt is evident it is also very light. The borders are clean and the color sharp. Likely the reason for the VG-level grade pertains to the print registration which is obviously off yet this is a print flaw common to the issue and far more pronounced in many examples. In this case despite the registration the card has retained strong eye appeal due to its sharpness and bold coloration.
