It was nearly fifteen years ago that our hobby friend Joe Brennan then a collector of T206 portrait cards remarked about the Cy Young portrait "It looks like it should be hanging over a fireplace mantelpiece." Since then we have echoed that sentiment our opinion being that the T206 Cy Young portrait is one of the most elegant regal-looking baseball cards ever manufactured. This example is extraordinary; graded EX-MT 6 by PSA due to light corner wear and a slight top-to-bottom centering issue. The color and print registration remain strong and with just 33 examples graded higher by PSA is one of the cleanest and most attractive examples in the hobby.
