Easily our favorite postwar card from our favorite postwar set the 1953 TOpps Satchell Paige features a lovely portrait of one of the all-time greats on a larger canvas with a deep red background. This example is particularly strong with very little chipping on the lower red border and only very minor softness to the edges and corners keeping the card from a higher-grade holder. Bright and colorful a gorgeous card from a beautiful set.
