The 1916 Tango Eggs issue has always been a slight enigma to collectors. Produced in 1916 by the New Orleans-based company L. Frank & Company this set was largely unknown until a large hoard of cards was discovered in 1991. While Hughie Jennings was amongst the most common in the find any prewar card in high grade should be celebrated. This sample is absolutely gorgeous and features the Hall of Famer in his iconic leaping pose. Overgraded the card does suffer from a pronounced tilt and a corner ding on the upper-left not visible in the scan but certainly present. Despite this a very attractive card from a scarce issue.
