Without question one of the finest pitching artists of his era Mike Boddicker broke in with the Baltimore Orioles and pitched his first full season in 1983 posting a 16-8 record with a 2.77 ERA and finishing third in the AL Rookie of the Year voting behind Ron Kittle and Julio Franco. In 1984 Boddicker won 20 games against 11 losses with a 2.97 ERA and finished fourth in the Cy Young voting. While Boddicker would produce several more excellent seasons with Baltimore and Boston ultimately compiling a 14-year career with four teams that 1984 campaign would remain his finest and the only 20-win season of his career. Presented here is an exquisite Baltimore Orioles road jersey from that season in outstanding condition attaining a grade of A10 from MEARS. The size 42 jersey features Boddicker's number 52 on the front and back his name stitched onto the name plate on the shoulders and Boddicker's player ID featured on the strip tag in the shirt tail.
