Spectacular Milwaukee Braves road jersey dated to 1957 as worn by catcher Carl Sawatski. Sawatski batted .238 in 105 at bats for the 1957 Milwaukee Braves playing in 57 games as a catcher and pinch hitter. In his 105 at bats he hit an impressive 6 home runs. Wilson size 44 flannel features a zipper-front Sawatski's name and season stitched onto a small plate underneath the manufacturer's tag on the tail of the shirt. Unfortunately it appears that the jersey has undergone some restoration to the logo number and patch that reduced the technical grade to A5. Despite the restoration a strong vintage Milwaukee Braves jersey.
