Consisting of ten unnumbered black and white photographic cards surrounded by a green "picture frame" border the 1958 set disstributed by Bell Brand Potato Chips welcomed the Dodgers to their new home in Los Angeles after departing from Brooklyn. Very rare and rabidly chased by Dodger fans this set represents one of the first regional issues to celebrate the Dodgers' arrival on the West Coast. Bell Brand cards which were packaged inside cellophane wrappers one per bag of chips were (as you might imagine) especially susceptible to grease stains and creases which makes high-grade examples difficult to come by. The key card in the issue obviously is that of Sandy Koufax. Graded VG 3 by SGC this example appears strong however a light crease in the upper-left corner along with four corners consistent with the grade reduce the technical grade of the card despite its visual appeal.
