Pair of passes to 1970s All-Star games including one used by Hall of Fame director Ken Smith to witness one of the most famous of all the All-Star games: the 1970 classic at Riverfront Stadium where Pete Rose famously bowled over Ray Fosse at home plate to end the game. A controversial finish Fosse fractured and separated his shoulder in the collision and often states his swing was never the same. The 1970 pass is well-used with several horizontal and diagonal creases along with three hole punches. The collection also includes a pass to the 1977 All-Star game at Yankee Stadium as issued to Joe Reichler of the Commissioner's office. Also well-worn with significant creasing and some staining as well. Both passes retain their original strings. Two passes total.
