The 1958 World Series was just the second in history that saw a team come back from a 3-1 defecit to win in 7 games (the first was the 1925 Pittsburgh Pirates). In a rematch of the prior year's Series the Yankees fought hard to take Game 6 in extra innings scoring two in the 10th against Warren Spahn and withstood a rally in the bottom of the inning to win the game. In Game 7 the Yankees entered the eighth inning tied 2-2 and mounted a two-out rally capped by a 3-run Moose Skorwon home run to take a 6-2 lead. The victory would provide the Yankees with their 18th World Championship. Outstanding full ticket is graded VG-EX 4 by PSA. The overall presentation is strong however; these 1958 tickets are very colorful and well-designed and the rich color hides a lot of wear. An attractive ticket yet another "deciding game" victory for the New York Yankees featured in this auction.
