Few signed cards from the 1950s are more desirable than those of Hall of Famer Jackie Robinson. Presented here is a bright example of Robinson's second-year card signed handsomely in blue ink across the bottom half the signature clear and dark. The colorful card does exhibit some minor wear particularly at the top edge the image predictably off-center (as is common with the issue). Robinson's signature is obviously prized among even the most advanced collectors; just a handful of signed examples of this card are known to exist. This example is one of the more clean and attractive our research has uncovered; with realized prices of signed Robinson cards increasing exponentially this is an exceptional find.
