Inspection of the uniform and review with several experts lead us to believe that this player is not a member of the Brooklyn Superbas or Boston Braves. The photos are exquisite studio photos depicting the player alternately in a portrait pose a fielding pose and a batting pose. Clearly taken by a professional photographer the quality of both the photos and the uniform lead us to believe that the team for which he played was well-organized perhaps semiprofessional or even minor league. Each of the three cards appears in VG/EX to EX condition postally unused. Three cards total.
