Grouping of three complete albums issued in the 1880s. Includes the following: 1) 1889 A4 Allen & Ginter Birds of the Tropics: Full album intended to house the cards in the N5 "Birds of the Tropics" set. Ornate string-bound book featuring lithographic printing on heavy paper a gorgeous piece with its original string binding intact and fully attached. Light wear visible on the interior pages some visible foxing on the cover along with a small edge tear and some minor paper folds. 2) 1888 A28 Duke & Sons Heroes of the Civil War: Album issued circa 1888 with gorgeous interior pages featuring images and descriptions of the N78/N114 "Histories of Generals" issues. Well-worn on the cover pages with several tears and significant paper loss at both the front and back. The interior pages are far more attractive. 3) 1889 Duke & Sons Costumes of All Nations: 1889 album featuring the cards of the N70 and N71 card issues. Apparent EX condition with some minor cover wear including some light chipping and paper loss on the reverse but with very strong and colorful interior pages. Three books total.
