Tremendous fresh-to-the-hobby grouping of nine cards from the 1907 Dietsche Postcards Detroit Tigers issue. Each of the cards were found in a collection of postcards belonging to the mother of our consignor a noncollector who was reviewing some family heirlooms to build a war chest for the purpose of college savings for his daughter. In the collection he found ten Dietsche postcards (including the Cobb rookie card featured elsewhere in this auction). Each of the cards were submitted to PSA. The collection includes the following: 1) PSA VG 3: Fred Payne; Germany Schaefer; Charles Schmidt; 2) PSA GOOD+ 2.5: David Jones; George Mullin; Claude Rossman; Edward Siever; 3) PSA GOOD 2: William Coughlin; David Jones. Nine cards total including two duplicates each postally unused.
