Nearly 60% of a signed 1955 Bowman set including many of the issue's difficult cards and keys. The 1955 Bowman set was that company's final baseball issue the cards featuring the players inset into what appeared to be a color television set. This collection was diligently assembled over a period of several decades by a dedicated collector with a keen eye virtually all of the signatures applied in ballpoint ink or vintage fiber tip marker (the collector did not like Sharpie signatures at all). The number of difficult cards and deceased players coupled with the larger size of the set (in terms of total number) make completing an autographed set quite a collecting challenge. A good portion of the challenge is taken care of with this grouping.
