The cards were inserted into issues of the New York Journal-American newspaper in 1954 the cards featuring members of the three New York baseball teams and promoting a cash giveaway from the paper. Condition-sensitive simply due to their method of distribution this is one of 18 examples graded by PSA at this level with just 8 higher. Light corner touches are the only issue that keep the card from a higher holder.
