Exceptional complete 1934-36 Diamond Stars set which includes 40 extra cards a healthy start towards a complete master set. The Diamond Stars issue was produced by National Chicle and issued in packs of Diamond Stars gum of a period of three years. Due to the multiple years of issue a variety of card backs exist; a total of 170 different cards make up a master set. Featuring beautiful art deco designs that dovetail with the National Chicle football and "Sky Birds" issues the set is one of the most underrated prewar issues in the hobby likely due to the absence of a Ruth or a Gehrig in the set. Loaded with Hall of Famers stars and variations the set is challenging to complete with a master set even more so. Presented here is a total of 148 cards representing a complete set with many duplicates contributing to the master set. The set varies in condition but largely boasts exceptional visual appeal.
