I have one to sell!
Outstanding pairing of 1890s studio cabinets each featuring Heavyweight champion John L. Sullivan. Both cabinets herald Sullivan as "Champion of the World " one picturing Sullivan in dapper street clothes an attractive portrait of the champ and the other picturing him in a familiar boxing pose. Two of many cabinets issued of Sullivan by a host of manufacturers during the era these two are particularly pleasing to the eye each with moderate wear around the mount but attractive photos. The portrait photo does exhibit some wear and mild staining along the right side while the boxing pose suffers from mild paper loss on the reverse the result of the removal of some clear tape (remnants of which remain on the card reverse). Both have light pencil writing on the card backs as well. Two cabinets total.
