Interesting grouping of difficult card types all featuring Bob Meusel one of the underrated members of the 1920s Yankees' Murderer's Row teams. At the very dawn of the live ball era Meusel hit .309 lifetime averaging 18 home runs and 123 runs batted in most definitely overshadowed by Babe Ruth Lou Gehrig and Tony Lazzeri. His best season came in 1921 when he hit .318 with 24 home runs and 138 RBI though he posted even stronger power numbers four years later when he hit 33 home runs in 1925. Presented here are four tougher cards from the prime of Meusel's career each from less frequently-seen issues. The collection includes the following: 1) 1922 Wm. Paterson: Graded SGC PR 1 the card is severely worn but the image is clear and visible. Tough Canadian issue. 2) 1923 V100 Willard's Chocolates: Attractive card exhibiting pronounced wear but not detracting from the eye appeal graded FAIR 1.5 by SGC. 3) 1925 Universal Toy & Novelty: Difficult strip card graded FR 1.5 by SGC with significant toning and age-related soiling. 4) 1925-31 W590: Graded Authentic by SGC a hand-cut strip card with strong visual appeal cut slightly close to the edges of the image. Four cards total.
