Sensational 1912 official Cleveland Naps scorecard for a game against Washington. The game was a 6-3 Washington victory likely occirring on June 13. In that game a young Shoeless Joe Jackson pinch hit for starting pitcher Lefty George late in the game and singled to no avail. Neal Ball pinch-ran for Jackson but was stranded. Each of these occurrences is noted on the interior scorecard the first scorecard we have ever handled in which Joe Jackson was involved. Remarkably sturdy and attractive the back cover is visibly torn with some paper loss consistent with scrapbook removal. The year 1912 is circled in pencil on the front cover. An exceptional piece.
