Striking two-color box that once held penny packs of 1951 Bowman baseball cards (advertised as "New Large Size"). Measuring 6 1/2" x 9" x 1 1/2" the box exhibits moderate wear including some chipping at the edges and corners as well as wrinkles and creases. A small strip of paper loss perhaps half an inch long is visible on the bottom edge of the outer lid. The box is a two-piece box the lid removable from its base and despite the visible wear both sections are sturdy and strong the piece presenting extremely well. An excellent display piece a seldom-seen unopened box and outstanding companion piece to a 1951 Bowman set.
