Interesting collection of turn of the century football postcards each featuring team photos. Two of the four teams are identified. Collection includes: 1) 1913 Colgate University: Postally used (1914) clear photo but the postal use has caused an ink smudge on the face of the photo itself. Stains and overall soiling POOR condition. 2)1905 Pillsbury Academy: Postally used (1906) Fair condition with writing on both sides as well as postal markings and creases. Clear image. 3) 1911 Gates (?) School Team Image: Youth football team 1911 "GATES" emblazoned on the shirt of one player and the ball he is holding. VG condition with a few minor wrinkles and overall wear. 4) Youth Team: Features the members of what appears to be some sort of school team posed on the field (some in four-point stances) year and team unknown. GOOD condition minor staining and overall wear. Four cards total.
