The D327 Holsum Bread set was distributed by the Weil Baking Company of New Orleans and features 80 cards identical in design to the E121 Series of 80. Each loaf of Holsum Bread (a brand that survives even today) contained one card. Today Holsum Bread cards are very difficult to come by with fewer than 200 examples graded the majority at the lower end of the register. Presented here is Buck Herzog's card from the issue graded VG 3 by SGC due to mild soiling and corner rounding. As the black and white photographic cards of the 1920s increase in demand value continues to rise. These tougher card types are among the hobby's better values.
