Though a pronounced horizontal crease traverses the card right at Hudson's face the quality of the image in this 1886 "Brown's Champions" card of Nat Hudson renders the crease moot. Brown's Champions Old Judges are among the more widely collected of all the N172 subsets; finding examples with strong image clarity and contrast is a difficult task. For N172 collectors interested in quality images this is an exceptional example.
