Lot Description  

Bright midgrade example of one of Mickey Mantle's most popular and beautiful cards: the 1953 Bowman Color card. Graded VG/EX 4 by SGC the card does exhibit some surface wear and abrasions along with corner and edge wear. Despite the flaws the card presents well the colorful sky blue background offsetting the swinging Yankees outfielder's crisp white pinstripes. A tremendous card in any grade in this case an affordable midgrade specimen.
