Spectacular portrait card of Christy Mathewson one of the key cards to the extremely condition-sensitive E103 Williams Caramel issue our favorite of all the caramel issues. Printed on extremely light paper the cards typically well-worn and very susceptible to damage. In fact of the 21 Christy Mathewson cards from the issue graded by SGC just one - a single VG+ 3.5 - has graded higher than VG 3. This example presents very well with minor wear throughout and no significant dominant flaw. An extraordinary card from a tremendously difficult caramel issue.
