I have one to sell!
Among the more popular of the baseball-related advertising trade cards today complete set of H804-7 "Merchant's Garging Oil" cards. Each card features an illustration of a disturbing-looking rotund ballplayer in what appears to be game situations. The full-color lithos were used to promote several different companies though the one most frequently seen is Merchant's Gargling Oil the company advertised on all five of these cards. Averaging in GOOD condition the primary condition flaws with these cards are as is typically the case on the reverse where the telltale discolorations associated with being stored in the pages of scrapbooks can be seen. Unlike most of these cards which typically exhibit back damage however these appear to have been removed carefully or perhaps even naturally as the reverse typography can be easily read and exhibits no sign of paper loss. One of the five labeled "Something must be done 'Put it there!'" has an owner's stamp on the reverse. Five cards total.
