Stunning Walter Johnson card from the desirable PC796 issue. One of the most visually appealing and widely collected postcard sets featuring baseball players of the era. Issued in 1910 by an unknown manufacturer the set mirrors the Novelty Cutlery postcard set and uses many images seen in different baseball card and supplement issues. Off-center from top to bottom a typical issue with this set the card has been graded GD+ 2.5 by SGC. Evenly-rounded corners are the primary culprit; the card does exhibit some slight toning but is otherwise clean. A truly fantastic sample and a classic baseball postcard.
