Spectacular piece featuring an inset of the crown of the 1972 Cincinnati Reds National League Championship ring set into a sterling silver brooch. This mixed-metals piece is a likely companion to the David Gamble Championship ring offered elsewhere in this auction perhaps produced for his wife. The piece measures 1 3/4" from the top of the bow to the bottom of the piece and features the same Reds "C" logo encrusted with 11 reddish stones featured in the ring. Engraved "LGBSTERLING" and "13KMTG" on the reverse manufactured by Balfour (the "LGB") a beautiful clean piece from the dawn of the Big Red Machine.
