Scarce button featuring a team image of the 1905 AL Champion Philadelphia Athletics. Beautiful photo contains the entire team including Hall of Famers Rube Waddell Eddie Plank Chief Bender and Connie Mack. Manufactured by H. Shaw Co. of Philadelphia the 1 3/4" diameter pinback exhibits some staining and discoloration at the top left of the pinback near the edge certainly not disrupting the image. Patina is evident on the reverse though all in all the piece grades VG or slightly better. An exceptional team pinback featuring an early Athletics team.
