Rare and valuable team postcard featuring the 1924 World Champion Washington Senators. Labeling of "American League Champions" suggests that the postcard was issued before the conclusion of the World Series. Team image is exceptional; Walter Johnson front and center young Bucky Harris to his immediate left Sam Rice and Goose Goslin in the same row. The senators finished the season 92-62 the 27-year-old Harris in his first season as manager. It would be more than 20 years before he would win another World Series the 1947 Yankees helping him get to the title.
