I have one to sell!
Extremely rare Chicago-based bakery issue where an area baker produced a coupon redemption offer for a matted black and white portrait photo of a Chicago player. Each 4 3/4" x 5 3/4" maroon frame included a punch-out easel stand on the reverse with a photo of a Chicago player included. Though the Sawyer Biscuit name is not included anywhere on the item the envelopes in which they were mailed did include the name. One of those issues that is rare enough that new unchecklisted subjects occasionally appear there are currently 47 known subjects including 24 Chicago Cubs 22 Chicago White Sox and Sox broadcaster Bob Elson. While the set does include Hall of Famers Dizzy Dean Gabby Hartnett Billy Herman Tony Lazzeri Luke Appling and Ted Lyons the cards are rare enough that only the Dean really carries a considerable premium; the others are all considered desirable. Since the photos are well-protected by their leather-like frames they are typically found in excellent condition. This example presents well with some minor wear at the corners slight surface abrasions and slight tears at the inside corners of the frame. The easel back appears to have not been pulled away from the frame. An exceptional card from a tough issue.
