Clean and sharp pair of original Type 1 News Service Photos depicting the popular New York Giants catcher one in portrait and one in action format both dating to the 1910s. The first of the two images is an attractive 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" portrait photo setting Meyers against a dark background with some minor cracking and surface abrasions visible on the front and requisite editorial markings on the reverse. The second is slightly smaller measuring just shy of 6" x 8 1/4" picturing Meyers at the plate about to begin his swing. The "action" photo is in outstanding condition with editorial markings and stamps on the reverse. Two photos total each with full LOA from PSA/DNA.
