Lot Description  

Outstanding souvenir matchcover from Mickey Mantle's Holiday Inn Hotel in Joplin MO. Graded EX 5 by Beckett the matchcover exhibits very little wear with the striker unused though the matches have been removed pinholes serving as evidence of their former existence. Mantle collectibles from the Holiday Inn are quite desirable among collectors; this particular matchcover is not one we have seen before.
